Typically Meadowsweet Growsto about 3 ft tall but can, on Occasion get to Twice that Height. Meadowsweet is a Perennial Herb that Mulitplys by Propagation of the Seeds and by the Creeping Rhizomes that run Underground. The Leaves of Meadowsweet are Dark Green and Comprised of Three to Five Pairs of Toothed Leaflets with Smaller Leaves In between. The Upper Side of the Leaves are Smooth whilst the Under Sides of the Leaves are Silvery in Colour.
When the Densely Packed Creamy White Flowers that are Positioned on Upright Stems of Meadowsweet First Open they have a Sweet and Pleasant Fragrance that Becomes Stronger as the Flowers Fade. The Leaves and Stems are also Scented but their Fragrance is Delicately Different from that of the Flowers.
